I am reaching out to you as an individual who has not only rescued 3 dogs but has also cultivated a profound love for these four-legged friends. As a dog lover, seeing a reputable company like Dow participating in inhumane practices, such as testing and killing dogs for their pesticides, has incensed me beyond belief. It's horrifying to recognize that the smiles, wagging tails, and love of these innocent creatures is being snuffed out in the name of product research. 

Dow conducts countless tests annually, in which hundreds of dogs are poisoned and ultimately euthanized. Factually, fatalities arising from such merciless practices number in thousands globally - a harsh reality that is overlooked and under-addressed (source: The Humane Society of the United States, 2019). These hapless creatures often endure a cruel life of prolonged suffering due to exposure to dangerous substances, only to meet a gruesome end. Companies worldwide are turning to alternative testing methods, proving that this slaughter is not only tragic but unnecessary.

With millions of voices together, we can bring about a change. It's time to challenge Dow to do the right thing and cease their brutal pesticide testing on dogs. We urge them to adopt more humane and scientifically advanced alternatives like in-vitro (non-animal) methods and computer simulations that have been successfully embraced by numerous other organizations. Let us unite and shut down this sort of manipulative exploitation. We owe it to our canine companions – those who are as much a part of our society as we are.
