I've seen firsthand the harsh realities of dog rehabilitation centres in Delhi, where the innocent lives of dogs are constantly at risk. As a devoted dog lover, I know firsthand the powerful bonds we share with these animals.
Sadly, some of these centres, under the guise of 'rehabilitation', are causing more harm than good to our canine companions. There have been far too many accounts of dogs' lives being tragically cut short in these so-called shelters.
We believe in the rights and dignity of all living creatures. Dogs, just like us, have rights and deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. Instead, they are subjected to conditions that are far from humane in these rehabilitation centres.
Therefore, this petition seeks to appeal to the Supreme Court. We want them to take notice of this serious situation and take immediate action to ensure the safety and well-being of dogs in rehabilitation centres in Delhi. It's about time we put an end to this horrifying treatment of dogs in the name of 'rehabilitation'.
