Here in British Columbia it is next to impossible to find a rental that alows pets. Due to this and landloards being allowed to discriminate against pets soo many animals are being dumped at shelters or even abandoned just so their human can find a place to live. It is not only unfair but unethical. If their was no such thing as a "no pets" then a tenant could rightfully say they have none to get a rental to avoid being discriminated while still paying their pet depsit unpon moving in. Pet limits should also be set per apartment not pet lot.

Ontario has had this law for years and years prohibiting landloards from refusing pets, its time BC gets on the same page. A legislation needs to be changed and im hoping with providing this petition to a legislative assembly we can make a change! Sign the petition now and make a difference!
