Love and marriage have a direct connection to the the essence of freedom, encompassing the right to choose and cherish a partner willingly. People marry because they love one other, therefore, the link between them grows spontaneously. When I was at a very young age, I always dreamed of marrying someone whom I would love and stay with forever. However, many people get married, but not by choice. And worse, girls under my age are already in marriage. 

Picture your dreams and freedom, and childhood being stolen from your grasp. Sadly, that is the daily experience of several million other young girls. We should not and will not continue to allow this to occur. 

According to UNICEF, an estimated 12 million girls under 18 are married each year worldwide. Also Studies have shown that forced marriage often leads to severe physical and psychological consequences. Forcing someone to marriages deprive people of their freedom and violate their human rights. It’s about time we all stood up and expressed our desires.

 Every girl or women should have the opportunity to reach her full potential, get an education, pick her own path, love freely and, most importantly, feel safe. Let’s alter that by giving each girls a chance to blossom and fly in her path.

Calling all lawmakers, and everyone to enact and implement laws that condemn child marriage and forced marriage, ensuring that every girls are fully protected by the law. Let us build a world in which every girls can thrive without the constraints of compulsion in marriage.
