I went to SeaWorld and saw how the animals suffered helplessly. The orcas, dolphins, and other marine animals are confined to small tanks that do not meet their physical or psychological needs. These intelligent creatures are forced to perform unnatural tricks for entertainment, leading to stress, illness, and shortened lifespans.

Studies have shown that orcas in captivity live significantly shorter lives than their wild counterparts (Jett & Ventre, 2012). Dolphins often exhibit signs of distress such as repetitive behaviors and self-harm due to the lack of stimulation in these environments (Marino et al., 2004).

It is time for us to take a stand against this cruelty. We must urge SeaWorld to end its practice of keeping marine animals in captivity and shift towards more humane alternatives like sanctuaries.
