Reed Mattingly started this petition to California State House and

Trophy hunters have killed more than 10,000 bobcats in the last 10 years.

They are currently trophy hunted across 40 different states in the United States, but that number is slowly dwindling and California could be the next to go.

Bobcats pose no serious risk to livestock. In fact, bobcats actually are a vital part of their ecosystems.

Trophy hunters are killing these animals because they want to mount them on their walls - and that’s why this practice has to be stopped.

That’s why a bill that was just introduced in California that would end the trophy hunting of bobcats in California has to be passed.

Humans killing animals for no reason other than mounting their bodies on the wall isn’t right and we have to put an end to it. Urge California to pass Assembly bill 1254 and make the trophy hunting of bobcats illegal in California.
