I am starting this petition to raise awareness and hopefully somewhat put an end to animal testing. Over 100 million animals are tested on every single year, helpless animals are having substances injected, forced to inhale toxic fumes, are force fed pesticides, and covered in corrosive chemicals, just for the sake of companies testing new products. 

If animal testing continues, these same devastating events will take place, innocent animals are being put through these deadly experiences sometimes all for nothing, over 50% of the experiments end up not being published. Also, most of the time, how the animal reacts isn't accurate to how a human might. Meaning that humans are still being harmed even after animal testing occurs. 

It is important to try and put an immediate stop on animal testing as it violates animal's rights and causes so much unnecessary pain and suffering to the animals. And there are so many safer alternatives other than testing on animals, like extensive stem cell research, clinical research, testing tissues and cells in test tubes.
