I have witnessed the heartbreaking sight of animals left stranded in the bitter cold. I know people who, perhaps through ignorance or indifference, fail to properly care for their creatures. An annual visit to the vet can drastically improve an animal's quality of life, catching potentially dangerous health issues before they become serious and ensuring animals get the appropriate care and attention they need.
