As the founder of a youth group dedicated to environmental projects, I have witnessed the devastating effects of human actions on animals. Our work has involved helping animals affected by pollution, habitat destruction, and other human caused hazards. This experience has deepened my understanding and awareness for other species. I would like to lead a movement to end animal cruelty.

Every year, more than 1,000,000 animals suffer in laboratories due to animal testing. They endure painful tests like the Draize Test, Acute Toxicity Testing, Skin Irritation Testing, Ecotoxicity Testing, Carcinogenicity Tests and Reproductive and Developmental Toxicity tests. After these tests are completed - if they survive - these innocent creatures are often killed.

There's a common misconception that animal testing is necessary for scientific progress. However, with advancements in technology, today we can use isolated cells/tissues, bacteria or computers as alternatives for many types of testing.
