Your voices are started to be heard. Here is an update since 18/08/26

Thank you to the 604 people so far that has signed since the petition started.  Thank you for wanting to make a difference for the vulnerable aged clients.  Minister Sam Rae feels it unimportant to place real people behind their care decisions, and only uses the algorithm. In Australia, so far it isn't considered acceptable that AI algorithms make final decisions without humans, humans make the final decision. This seems to have slipped through the cracks in the Minister for Ageing Care's Vision. So far the algorithm has been declared suspended, but this is words only; we need solid answers for the aged. Not Canberra Speak.

What's going to happen from here?

 So I ask the ones who have signed and the ones who read this to contact Minister Sam Rae and his boss Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to find out why our tax dollars are being wasted and are not being used to look after the ordinary Aged Care clients? When will Aged Care recipients get real human assessors.

Let the government know we will not accept this inequality. Did you know that a Parliamentarian pension, starts on $92,435 per year after serving eight years of service when they retire.  The ordinary single pensioner gets $32,180.20 per year, Ask Minister Sam Rae WHY? Why do we have two levels of pensions. Why not have parliamentarian pensioners start on the same level as a ordinary single pension? This Parliamentarian pension is three times the value of what the ordinary pensioner gets. All working Australians before they become pensioners work just as hard as Politicians. They don't  make empty promises that so often happens with Politicians.  So why does not keeping their promises get them paid three times the amount of the ordinary pensions when they haven't done their job in representing the ordinary pensioners. 

These are the base starting values for the Parliamentarian Pensioners they go up from there each year with a Commonwealth Contribution of 15.4%.

The ordinary Australian employs them [public servants] and we lose millions over paying them as a parliamentarian pensioner.  We could use the excess we pay these Parliamentarian Pensioners to fund free hospital care for all pensioners. This is novel, all pensioners being treated as one not rules that discriminate  against the ordinary aged pensioner. 

Why are we treated differently in asking for getting help, by being a ordinary aged pensioner, in our pension payments ?  Good questions to get answers, so lets get those answers, please sign.
