A Flood Alert has been issued for Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Hopefully, Wastewater Treatment Works along the Almond and its tributaries from North Lanarkshire, through West Lothian, to Edinburgh will have sufficient capacity to avoid raw sewage being discharged into the river.
