The Issue

I, like many fans of the show "Catscratch", have a deep affection and appreciation for this beloved animated series. Unfortunately, despite our unwavering support, the show has yet to be released on any home media platform. However, with the advent of Paramount+, we have a glimmer of hope. We view this as an opportune platform for the release of our favorite show, which has long been left in the archive.

Launched in 2005, "Catscratch", a series based on the award-winning comic "Gear" by acclaimed illustrator Doug TenNapel, was embraced by a dedicated audience who loved its unique characters and engaging plot. Despite its popularity, the series was sadly cancelled after its first season. Yet, this elevated its status to a cult favorite among Nickelodeon viewers (source: TV.com).

Today, in an age where media streaming reigns, platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu provide access to various shows, both old and new, catering to diverse tastes. Paramount+ is a new platform launched by Paramount Global (formerly known as ViacomCBS), an ideal destination for "Catscratch" to find its home and old fans, while enticing new ones as well.

Including "Catscratch" on Paramount+ can be beneficial for both the platform and the fans. For Paramount+, it could mean an increase in subscriptions from thousands of fans eager to watch their favorite show, boosting their brand image as a provider that listens to its audience's needs. For fans like me and many others, it would mean the world -- finally, we would get to enjoy our favorite show once again, perhaps introducing it to younger generations who might also fall in love with it.

Join me in urging Paramount and Nickelodeon to put "Catscratch" on the Paramount+ platform. Please, sign the petition and let's bring our favorite show back from the archives!
