Encourage MyHeritage to Refine their DNA Match Evaluation Algorithm

Encourage MyHeritage to Refine their DNA Match Evaluation Algorithm
The Issue
I, like many others, have spent a significant amount of money and time on DNA tests to expand my family tree and discover the truth about my roots. MyHeritage, the platform where I (and numerous others) have uploaded this extremely personal and valuable data, has proven unreliable in its algorithm for evaluating DNA matches. It has been evaluated that over 75% of reported segments are false in some way - reported for a tested child but not reported for either of the tested parents. Such segments are either false positive for the child or false negative for the parent. This creates confusion and potential inaccuracies in tracing familial connections.
Our concerns have not fallen on deaf ears. Numerous users, including myself, have reported this issue to MyHeritage Support Team and the technician admitted the errors. However, instead of rectifying the problem, MyHeritage seems to be sidestepping it, investing their resources into features that, while innovative, may not be as fundamental to users as accurate DNA matches reports.
There are cases where even close cousins are not correctly matched, but they are matched appropriately after uploading raw DNA data to other companies. Such discrepancies question the fact if the mission of MyHeritage is being compromised - to help people discover their ancestry.
This disregard of quality over quantity and gloss over substance needs to be rectified immediately. An accurate DNA match is not a function, it's a fundamental service promised by MyHeritage. It's time that MyHeritage recognizes the genuineness of this issue and allocate necessary resources to fix its DNA match evaluation algorithm.
Join us in prompting MyHeritage to prioritize the accuracy of their DNA match evaluation, to ensure that we, their users, can trust the information we receive on their platform. Please, sign this petition.
