Particularly, given that Disney has acquired the American live-action rights to Dragon Ball as a part of their sweep of 21st Century Fox's entertainment and media assets.

Disney's consistent positive track record, especially when it comes to utilizing acquired rights through their numerous acquisitions over the years, presents a unique opportunity for the Dragon Ball series to be reimagined in an unprecedented way. The Dragon Ball franchise, which includes Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball Super, among others, has grossed over $20 billion in total franchise revenue, as per a report by ICv2 in 2018. This showcases not only the commercial success of the franchise but also the immense fan base it has amassed over the years.
