Encourage Billie Eilish to Add a Concert in Zurich to Her Tour

The Issue

I personally am a long-time fan of Billie Eilish, and her music has been an integral part of my life. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, I am unable to travel outside of Switzerland for concerts. This is a reality for many fans who are eager to experience her live performances but are hindered by geographical and financial barriers.

Billie Eilish's previous “Happier Than Ever” world tour was an unforgettable event that brought joy and inspiration to millions around the globe - the freshly announced “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT” tour is guaranteed to be even better. However, there's a noticeable absence - Zurich, aswell as other cities in Switzerland, is not on the list of cities she will be visiting. This leaves many Swiss fans disappointed as they miss out on this opportunity.

Zurich has a vibrant music scene with venues that have hosted numerous international artists. Billie herself had performed multiple shows over the past years in Zurich. Adding Zurich as one of the stops in her tour would not only benefit local fans but also contribute positively towards the cultural diversity in our city's music scene.

According to IFPI Switzerland, Billie Eilish’s album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" was among the top 10 best-selling albums in Switzerland in 2019 (IFPI Schweizer Hitparade). This indicates that there is significant demand for her performance here.

Switzerland is a country with a population of almost 8.8million. Among the very different regions of Switzerland there are countless Billie Eilish fans, devastated by the fact that Billie won’t be visiting us this time. That would mean a huge amount of people wouldn’t be able to experience her show and would miss out.

We kindly request Billie Eilish and her management team consider adding Zurich as one of their tour destinations. It would mean so much for us Swiss fans who love and support her music but cannot afford international travel expenses.

Please sign this petition if you believe every fan should have an equal opportunity to see their favorite artist perform live regardless of where they live or their financial situation.
