As a Baylor University student who loves the traditions that set this college apart, I fully intend to be a Dr Pepper VIP for all eight semesters of my college journey. I have an unwavering love for Baylor traditions, including one of its very oldest, the Dr Pepper Hour. This unique weekly gathering is a cornerstone of our university experience, bringing students together for camaraderie, relaxation, and a refreshing break from rigorous academia.

To honor this tradition and recognize the commitment of students who participate in all eight semesters, I am proposing the introduction of a Dr Pepper traditions cord at graduation. This cord would symbolize the rich history and the cherished moments associated with the Dr Pepper Hour, serving as a testament to students' involvement and pride in one of Baylor's iconic traditions.

Dr Pepper Hour has been an integral part of our culture since 1953, embodying the spirit of community and shared experiences. Rewarding those who have consistently attended with a unique token at graduation would not only celebrate their dedication but also enhance our sense of identity as Baylor Bears.
