Did you notice the articles this week about a botnet that infected thousands of WiFi routers which had rolled off the back of the vendor's maintenance sled?

An organized criminal gang took advantage of a defect in the device's software to take control of thousands of WiFi routers in the United States and other countries.

They made tens of millions of dollars selling a redirect service to other criminals who used the network to cover their tracks.

You can help raise awareness of this growing cybersecurity threat.

Take a moment to share your thoughts on your favorite social media platform, and link to this Change petition, requesting Apple to reconsider updating the firmware on AirPort and AirPort Express WiFi base stations.

Help keep these devices out of the landfill for a few more years.
