Petition updateEnact CONNOR'S LAW!SBTC FILES PETITION FOR CDL STATE DECERTIFICATION ORDERS IN FURTHERANCE OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
James LambWashington, DC, United States
May 27, 2025

The SBTC believes these 19 states are irresponsibly & dangerously posing unwarranted risk of death & serious personal injury to the motoring public in America by not testing for English proficiency during written CDL knowledge testing:

Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas & Virginia.

Today, the SBTC asked Secretary Duffy to revoke their CDL issuance privileges and to reduce their Federal funding in this PETITION FOR CDL STATE DECERTIFICATION ORDERS.

FMCSA DENIED SBTC'S CDL ELP KNOWLEDGE TESTING PETITION IN 2022.
