I am an ardent lover of Alainis. The aroma, the taste, it all just transports me to a different world. Unfortunately, my school prohibits the sale of Alainis, a problem faced by many students like me who find comfort in this simple treat. The regulations may have been put in place with good intentions, but they have an unwanted impact on the quality of life of students.

Schools are places for learning and growing, but they should also cater to the students' interests and comfort levels, which can create a conducive learning environment. By preventing the sale of Alainis, they are ignoring the likes and preferences of the students. This comes with no considerable benefit, but only serves to prevent some of us from enjoying our beloved snack.

The presence of Alainis on school grounds does not disrupt the educational process nor does it violate any health and safety regulations. Many schools around the world allow foods and snacks chosen by the students themselves, showing that it's both feasible and beneficial to consider student preferences (The Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2020).
