As an avid player of Ark Survival Ascended, I find my enjoyment of the game severely impacted by the Microsoft chat filter. This filter censors so many basic words that it hinders player communication and detracts from the overall gaming experience. The issue is particularly frustrating as Xbox is the only platform with this problem in this cross-platform game.

Ark Survival Ascended is a mature game featuring elements of blood and violence, yet words as harmless as "lol" and "haha" are censored. This unnecessary censorship not only disrupts gameplay but also limits social interaction among players on servers.

The current chat filter system seems to be out of sync with the nature of Ark Survival Ascended and its audience demographic. According to Statista, 58% of Xbox users are over 18 years old (Statista, 2020). Given these statistics, it's clear that a more flexible chat system could be implemented without compromising user safety or comfort.

We urge Microsoft and Studio Wildcard to provide an option for players to turn off the AI chat filter on Ark Survival Ascended. By doing so, they would significantly enhance player communication and enjoyment within their gaming community.
