I am a LSR7 student residing in Lee's Summit, MO, who finds joy and solace in playing video games. The world of games and modern free-to-play games brings students together, fosters creativity, and offers countless educational opportunities. Unfortunately, the current restrictions on Linux developer tools within the LSR7 School District limit students and hobbyists from exploring the full potential of these platforms.

Linux developer tools have revolutionized the technological landscape by enabling users to play games - new and old.  By enabling these tools within our school district, —a vital skill in today's job market.

To play older games, students will have to acquire ROMs.

Enabling Linux developer tools would not only support individual hobbies and interests like mine but also enhance the educational framework of the Lsr7 School District. Let's provide our students with the resources they need to thrive in this digital age. Together, we can push for a change that supports learning, creativity, and a bright future for all students in Lee's Summit.
