Hello, Empower Families and Community Members,

Empower is a small College Preparatory High School. Our mission is to prepare scholars for college and encourage them to change the world.

Simplified, the current issue at hand is that our soccer team doesn't have a space fit to be their home field. The Retention Basin near our school, (which used to be a park) was in the works of becoming ours before covid... but was canceled for an unknown reason.

We want a place where our empower families will feel safe sending their children to play soccer as well as provide our soccer team with an area where they can practice. This sport is a huge part of our ethnicities and community.

A letter is linked that will go more in-depth about the Retention Basin. It will go over the issue and our side of the matter.

Please help us! Each signature will help and we encourage you to spread the word to teachers, family members, friends, neighbors, etc.

Please note that this is an important issue and ensure all names are valid.

Thank You for your support!
