For the safety of our residents and the welfare of the local cougar, we are requesting that an expert is hired to tranquilize and relocate the cougar. This predator is not a threat when in its natural habitat, but its presence in populated areas poses harm to both humans and the cougar itself. We believe in preservation of wildlife, but also in ensuring safety for our community. We need a trained professional to tranquilize and relocate this cougar to a safe, distant and more suitable habitat where it can thrive without posing a threat to the public and our pets.
