We ask that everyone take a moment of their day and spread the word of our dear friend. 

With the tragic death of our Stefan Karl Stefansson. We humbly request that the Television Academy recognize the life of a great entertainer and his contributions to children's television. 

There were many a sick day home from school spent in an episode of Lazy Town, a show clearly not marketed towards me. Without fail, Robbie Rotten would make me laugh at every quick costume change or failed scheme. Through my noses, both runny and stuffy, and fevers as high as 100 degrees, 38 for those using Celsius, Stefan was always there to let me know things would get better. I still watch episodes when I'm feeling under the weather.

Thank you to Stefan for all you did then and the work that you've done since. Our thoughts are with your family.
