For some reason festival goers have decided leaving their tents at festivals by the tens of thousands a year is acceptable. It is not! These tents go to landfill and are wasted and create more pollution and rubbish on our planet. Also the throw away tent culture is meaning yet more natural materials are required to make new tents so they can do the same again next year. 

This petition is to have a mandatory payment for anyone taking a tent into a festival. Per tent and immediately repayable once they have left with their tent. This will not only discourage waste but also preserve natural resources for the future.
