Our grading system as of right now is:

A- 90-100, B- 80-89, C- 70-79, D- 60-69 F- 0-59. 

I don’t believe that it is fair that you have a greater chance of failing than you do of passing. It is setting students up for failure. I think that the grading system should be equally divided. 20 points for each letter grade. For example:

F= 0-20% D= 21-40% C= 41-60% B= 61-80% A= 81-100% 

It may look weird at first, but if you think about it it makes more sense than the old fashioned grading system we currently have. My goal with this petition is to change the way we are graded to a more fair, better way. 

If you need proof that this new grading scale will work you can look at the UK. Their grading scale is very similar as the one I am trying to convert ours to.
