The emergency vet services in grey/Bruce county need to change! You shouldn’t be denied help because you can’t afford the thousands of dollars they require to be seen, or because they aren’t taking new patients even if it is an emergency! My 6 month old kitten hadn’t eaten for 5 days and lost a tremendous amount of weight and that was deemed a non emergency which resulted in losing our kitten after calling vets for 2 days! Something needs to change! So let’s rally together and make them realize that our pets are family to and we’re sick of them denying help to our pets when they need it most! It was life or death for my little guy and unfortunately he didn’t even have a chance, despite our efforts at home he needed them!
