This petition was initiated to support the March to Gaza movement.

We, the undersigned, urgently call on His Excellency the Ambassador of Egypt and the Government of Egypt to immediately open the Rafah border crossing and work with international bodies to coordinate a secure humanitarian corridor into Gaza. 

The Rafah crossing is a vital gateway for medical supplies, food, and other life-saving resources. Its continued closure has created catastrophic conditions for the people of Gaza, many of whom now face critical shortages of basic necessities. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), thousands are in urgent need of care, shelter, and aid.

The March to Gaza movement, a growing global coalition of citizens, was formed in response to this deepening crisis. Though launched only recently, it already includes thousands from every continent—and that number is growing. Our goal is simple: peace, justice, and human dignity for all.

We are organizing a peaceful march to the Rafah border around June 19, 2025, and call on Egyptian authorities to cooperate in allowing a secure, internationally supervised passage for humanitarian convoys and for those in need. This is not a political demand—it is a moral imperative. The people of Gaza deserve access to aid and the chance to survive with dignity.

If Egypt refuses to act, and if humanitarian aid continues to be obstructed, the March to Gaza movement will launch a coordinated, global, peaceful boycott campaign. This campaign will target Egyptian tourism, international events, and businesses complicit in maintaining the border closure. We strongly prefer peaceful dialogue and cooperation—but we are fully prepared to mobilize nonviolent pressure to achieve our goal.

We request formal contact with Egyptian representatives and call on the global public to support this appeal. The opening of Rafah is urgent. Human lives depend on it.

Nous organisons une marche pacifique vers la frontière de Rafah autour du 19 juin 2025, et appelons les autorités égyptiennes à coopérer pour permettre un passage sécurisé, supervisé internationalement, pour les convois humanitaires et les personnes dans le besoin. Il ne s’agit pas d’une revendication politique — c’est un impératif moral. Le peuple de Gaza mérite un accès à l’aide humanitaire et le droit de survivre dans la dignité.

Si l’Égypte refuse d’agir et que l’aide humanitaire continue d’être bloquée, le mouvement Marche vers Gaza lancera une campagne de boycott mondiale, pacifique et coordonnée. Cette campagne ciblera le tourisme égyptien, les événements internationaux et les entreprises complices du maintien de la fermeture de la frontière. Nous privilégions fortement le dialogue pacifique et la coopération — mais nous sommes pleinement prêts à exercer une pression non violente pour atteindre notre objectif.

Nous demandons un contact officiel avec les représentants égyptiens et appelons le public international à soutenir cet appel. L’ouverture de Rafah est urgente. Des vies humaines en dépendent.
