Tesla Motors recently announced that the Model X Plaid will no longer be available in the 5 & 7 seat configurations and will only be made with the 6 seat arrangement. This is a massive problem for future and potential Model X Plaid owners and Tesla themselves, as they will be removing nearly 50% of the usable cargo space inside the world's fastest SUV therefore making it considerably less functional and desirable.

The current alternative for anyone with a reservation for a 5 or 7 seater or anyone seeking one is to downgrade to a Long Range model with nearly half the horsepower, which takes away so much from enthusiasts that love to drive yet need to justify the expense and be able to really use the vehicle in its entirety.

Unfortunately the 6 seat configuration inside the Tesla Model X does not allow the second row of seats to fold flat and can only tilt forward less than 45 degrees which leaves a massive gap and awkward space to be wasted. 

Keeping the 5 & 7 seat options will make the Tesla Model X Plaid singlehandedly one of the most impressive and functional vehicles to ever exist. The amount of cargo space is massive and knowing it is the fastest SUV in the world makes drivers feel like they got their money's worth.  #Keep7SeatModelXPlaids
