Elon Musk should create a PayPal+Patreon Hybrid 2.0
The Issue
So according to Patreon it is PayPal, a subsidiary of eBay and former creation of companies owned by Elon Musk, that is forcing Patreon to shove people off its platform that are deemed 'problematic'.
eBay and PayPal have remained silent, but Patreon wouldn't lie, now would it? It wouldn't just be getting rid of anyone that does wrong-think? It's not like we've seen radical movements go after anyone with a dissenting opinion or a sense of humor over the past few years? From PewDiePie, to Alex Jones, to Count Dankula, to some no-name political YouTubers and live-stream hosts that raise money for charity?
So the solution is clear. Let's convince Elon Musk to create PayPal 2.0 and Patreon 2.0 so that those companies no longer hold a monopoly on services and industry won't break down the moment someone is guilty of thought crimes against any single companies 'trust and safety council'. He could sell any stock he has in PayPal or eBay and fund it overnight.
PayPal and Patreon shouldn't even oppose this as it would prevent anyone from accusing them of having a monopoly. Wouldn't want those pesky anti-trust laws to be discussed too loudly now would we?
