Protect our neighborhood from Roberto's parking lot plan!

The Issue

Hello Neighbors! We formed ELMHURST NEIGHBORS UNITED to protect the safety of our children and the character of our neighborhood. For years, the owners of Roberto’s Ristorante and Pizza have been buying up residential property off Spring Road and Eggleston to build two parking lots which would increase their parking capacity by approximately 57 new spaces.

Roberto’s owners are, again, appealing to our Elmhurst Alderman and Zoning Committee to allow a special commercial use in a residential zoned area (they were turned down years ago). Spring Road district already experiences severe drainage, flooding and traffic issues. This parking proposal would only exasperate these problems and infringe on our rights as residential property owners.

Please unite with us in opposition of Roberto’s plans. Let’s protect the integrity of our residential neighborhoods!
