If you think this is humane maybe you need to rethink how you feel and change your perspective outlook.... These horses endure agony as soon as their walk begins from auction to dinner plate. Did you know 134,927 horses were slaughtered in Mexico and Canada in 2014 and Americans supply these horses for slaughtering through unwanted and over breeding. No many horses cannot be saved or for that matter fit for human companionship, I understand that, however this is a barbaric way of so called controlled euthanasia. No animal should be treated in this careless disgusting manner. Why would one claim to be pro slaughter? Being put down is one thing, and being starved, and no water and traveling like sardines on a semi crammed full of horses kicking and biting, getting trampled, spinal cords severed if they run away and left to die prior to their slaughter, being stunned only with a captive bolt gun that yes stuns them as they are drug out hoisted up by one leg, then legs severed, skinned and throat slit and they are very much alive. There is zero mercy in horse slaughter. Captive bolt guns were designed for cattle and are not to effective on horses. It can take up to twelve stuns before they drop prior to being rolled out to the next chamber for dismemberment. If this is to gruesome are you the one hanging by a foot still alive? So do you now realize the horror these horses face? The pain and suffering they endure? So if you are here on my fb page and are sick and tired of seeing me post things of this nature then please remove and block me but these horses are suffering and waiting for their terrifying turn to their very brutal death as they hear the whinnies of others ahead of them scream in terror and pain. Call me what you like, think I'm crazy for posting things of this nature cause it really doesn't matter. To me what does matter that it is crazy what these horses go through and I as well as many of my fb friends and organizations and charities and rescues, have chosen to be their voice in hopes to bring awareness to everyone who doesn't understand in hopes that the ones of you who feel the need for this so called elimination euthanasia process begin to understand how barbaric this is, and have a change of heart and do something positive and worthwhile and help the suffering of these horses and be an angel 4 the voiceless and end the walk of horror down the slaughter pipeline to their brutal terrifying death. Be an Angel 4 the horses and all abused and neglected animals. They are counting on us!!!!!
