I tried to talk to the owner of Elka Australia (a white man) and his mother. I was asked why they should cater to a "minority" instead of the "majority" and that "no one" has ever taken offence to their dolls (even though clearly that wasn't the case considering I was right in front of them with plenty of anecdotal evidence of the offence they caused).
Please show them that it is no longer the 1950s and that we DO care about these blackface caricatures and the horrifying past they represent and normalise.
