The goal is to spread awareness about how we make everyday choices to improve the environment quality around Lake Koocanusa. We need to do better as a society and think about how our actions hurt the fish and wildlife within the ecosystem. If we take action now, we can save fish and animal species, improve the water quality and we can help reduce the garbage in and around the lake. Here are some everyday choices that we can do to help the ecosystem: pick up garbage along the shorelines of the lake, don't send chemicals into the waterway, report people who litter and abuse the environment, boats need to be inspected before entering the water, keep your boat clean and well- maintained and if your boat pollutes the water, let officials know. Sign this petition and show that you care about the environment, by people signing and sharing, the leaders will see there needs to be laws and rules in place to reduce the human impacts, improve the ecosystem quality and to keep the fish and animal populations healthy.
