Take a look at a horrifying but very 'telling' quote by a high-up-there individual from the provincial sector of Nova Scotia SPCA!  A former dedicated & loyal employee was witness to this awful reality (quote) within the society! All the management cares about is the money for their big salaries! 

As seen in the photo: quote, "I do not give a f*ck where the animals go and who they are adopted to. Get them out the door so we get the adoption fees. We have to make money to keep the doors open. If the adopters are so bad then animal cruelty can deal with them on the other end. Cats can live in a box because not like the cat cares." end quote. 

Not only do the managers & supervisors not care about the animals but they also do not care about their hard-working & bullied staff! 

I suffered workplace bullying by my supervisor, Vet Tech Kristin Schofield, from the Kings branch NSSPCA in Waterville, NS! Not only that she also orchestrated my targeted layoff & hid it behind the excuse of 'lack of work", to cover her a*s! 

Yes, the NSSPCA needs donations, volunteers & adopters BUT they do NOT need to treat their staff like garbage! It's been knowingly going on, province wide, for years & there will be NO more secrets & lies, as long as I can help it!

NOVA SCOTIA NEEDS LEGISLATION NOW to protect bullied employees & hold employers accountable! Sure employers have 'policies' BUT they do NOTHING for the staff! I've been through it!
