Recently one of the few remaining nesting sites in Tasmania for the critically endangered Swift Parrot was logged. Only around 2000 of these birds are left in the wild which nest exclusively in Tasmania. They need mature trees for nesting in selected sites which need immediate protection. Further indiscriminate logging of these areas will force these Parrots into extinction without your support.
