I am a student in Castro Valley, CA, who has personally experienced the inefficiencies and limitations of Zearn. This educational platform is not only boring but also ineffective in imparting knowledge. It restricts creativity and fails to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.

Many fellow students share my sentiment; we find ourselves disengaged and frustrated with the lack of substantial learning that Zearn provides. The platform's approach to teaching is not conducive to different learning styles, thereby leaving many students struggling to grasp concepts.

Moreover, studies have shown that interactive teaching methods are more effective than traditional or digital textbook-based methods (National Education Association). However, Zearn lacks this crucial element of interactivity which makes it a poor choice for our classrooms.

In addition, an informal poll among my peers revealed that none of them found Zearn helpful or engaging. This indicates a widespread dissatisfaction with this tool among the student body.

Therefore, we call on the Castro Valley School District to eliminate Zearn from our classrooms. We deserve an educational experience that encourages creativity, caters to diverse learning styles and truly promotes understanding over rote memorization. Please sign this petition if you agree with us!
