Just like the public using hospitals for care, most healthcare workers pay monthly to park at work.

During the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, many families are facing layoffs & job loss within their households in addition to the mounting stress. Healthcare workers are also taking significant extra risks everyday, just going to work — in additional to financial strain their families are enduring.

No other frontline workers pay to park at work — specifically charged by the employer. Police, fire, paramedic, pharmacists or retail workers. At any time. 

In the absence of any danger/hazard pay premiums for healthcare workers, let’s stand together and demand that hospitals waive the monthly parking fees (often $35-80 per month) for frontline staff as an act of kindness and consideration during this unprecedented time.
