I have been a proud pet owner for several years now, housing and nurturing animals including rabbits. The bond formed with these innocent creatures over the years ignited a desire in me to help protect all animals. It deeply sickens and disturbs me that around the globe, hundreds of thousands of animals undergo needless suffering for animal testing. Animal testing, apart from being ethically questionable, is also proven misleading due to the significant biological differences between humans and other animals. According to Cruelty Free International, 90% of drugs fail in human trials despite promising results in animal tests (Cruelty Free International). Animals and humans alike deserve better. It is high time to say no to animal testing, advocating for alternative testing methods that do not involve cruelty towards our fellow creatures. We must be the voice for the voiceless, standing up against all forms of animal cruelty. Please sign this petition to bring an end to this inhumane practice of animal testing.
