People struggle daily with diabetes. Some only need pills or u-100 insulin. But some people need a much more expensive insulin, the u-500. Within the past year alone, the Humulin R u-500 has risen in price by about 70%, going from around $400 to over $700. Those with medical coverage get some help, but most still have to pay upwards of over $180. This will also continue to go up as the price overall goes up. This is price-gouging and isn't fair to uninsured or those with a co-pay that is still an outrageous cost. It's also illegal!

These people can't afford to live and this is wrong.
