I can't believe we're at 900 signatures! Thank you to everyone who has read and signed my open letter to the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

Special thanks to Natalie, Craig, and Tom for sharing their stories and the rest of the incredible editing and revision team of seven other insulin-dependent people who came together within less than 24 hours to make this effort happen!

I have yet to hear back regarding my initial email so I called today and was pointed in the direction of their VP of Communications. I left him a voicemail and wrote him an email as well. I plan to follow up next week if need be. In the meantime, here's a list of my current efforts. If you have any ideas or can assist, please let me know!

Efforts:
Contact with Indiana Chamber -- Do you have connections with Indiana Chamber Members? Indiana businesses?
Media coverage -- Do you have media connections? History of writing op-eds?
Public Opinion -- This is an odd form of advocacy, because our asks are addressed to a third-party (ICoC) rather than the insulin manufacturers. It's an opportunity to bring the insulin price-gouging conversation out of the silo of the diabetes community. Even more, it's a quick way to expose many people to our stories and struggles with insulin. Please continue to discuss this effort and the 5 "asks" from the open letter!
