For many years, the Competitive Community of Battlefield have been the most loyal customers EA and DICE could have asked for. We’ve gone along with everything they’ve done. Yes, there have been issues, and that is to be expected.

However, with DICE’s Community Manager (Daniel Mitre) making the statement regarding RSP, many of us loyal customers have had enough. EA and DICE underestimate the number of competitive players in their customer base. We are the minority in their eyes. In all reality, we’re the customers who have helped to keep them funded.

Time after time we have paid for their servers, regardless of price, because it enabled our communities to have a home. A place where we could experience the game the way we wanted. Now, EA and DICE are creating a “uniform experience” for all players as opposed to the way it was in titles such as Battlefield 4 where Platoons and communities were able to customize the experience.

Now is the time for our communities to act. Let EA and DICE know that we are still here and we have had enough. We need Rental Servers. We can deal with bugs if we have control of our own servers. Our communities need a place to gather to experience the game the way we want. Public servers cannot serve any of these needs

My community alone has around 50 members, and it is almost impossible for any of us to get into a server to play together. We’re tired of sitting in a queue for 30 minutes or more, just to get booted back out again.

EA and DICE are starting to lose our loyalty, and it’s time they realized it.
