Since humble beginnings in the 1990s, the Command and Conquer series of games has amassed a very large and very passionate fan base, with many people eager to play the heavily anticipated follow up to Generals, free-to-play "Command & Conquer" (formerly Generals 2).

On October 29th 2013 the studio announced that they were shelving the game as it didn't meet the design agenda they were mandated to create. The feedback from the fans (ultimately those whose wallets would provide the revenue stream) unfortunately caused this change of direction, which doesn't seem to make any sense. The fans wanted a true follow up to Generals, which while included a large PvP multiplayer, had its origins firmly rooted in Skirmish play (either Co-op or single player vs AI).

I have played the Alpha version, and it is clear to me that this game is 95% ready, so the this petition is to campaign for EA/Victory to finish the remaining 5%, release the game as an unfinished / alpha or beta-grade product through their preferred distribution method (Origin), with a nominal price that can recoup some of the development costs and hopefully demonstrate to EA that there is a business case to continue this title in traditional purchase mode / that F2P + microtransactions are not neccessary. 

It is a sad day when the honest feedback from passionate fans should condemn a title with such longstanding heritage. So please sign and share.
