ICC Cricket World Cup was the second most viewed sporting event just after the FIFA World Cup. Cricket is a widely loved sport and we being die hard fans of the sport, want to play it not only on the field but also on our gaming consoles and PCs. 

EA made the last version in 2007 which was a huge success. Since then a lot has changed in the game and everyone wants a new version of it.

FIFA, NFL, NHL and NBA get a new version every year so why not cricket when it enjoys much wider fan following.
