We, the signed individuals, demand that Electronic Arts stick to their legal, social and moral obligations and add Leeds United’s Elland Road to FIFA 21 as a launch day / day zero patch update. With immediate effect.

Traditionally there is a legal contract with The Premier League and EA that all Premier League Teams must have their players and manager digitally scanned into the game and their stadiums must be present. This is to do with strict licensing contracts between yourselves and The Premier League for your launch of FIFA titles.

Leeds United were first in the Championship for the entirety of UK National Lockdown, a period of around FOUR months, and back many months before and many months after.

EA knew full well they would never include Leeds United’s Elland Road at launch which is why they refused to tell us customers that they would not include Elland Road at launch until 13 DAYS before launch!! This means tens of thousands of us will have already pre-ordered this game on this assumption. This is disgusting behaviour because they knew they did not want negative pre-order sales before launch a month or two months prior.

Yet EA lie to tens of thousands of their customers who like myself have pre-ordered this game for around £100 and who have waited to purchase this specific release of FIFA 21 on the SOLE belief that Elland Road will be on this game at launch. That is THE ONLY reason we pre-ordered this game and THE ONLY reason why we will buy this game at launch. To stop tens of thousands of pre-orders and launch sales becoming null and void forevermore.

Electronic Arts need to take swift and immediate action by including Elland Road at launch via a Release Day / Day Zero Patch Update.
