

Cease all business with FrontGate tickets after EF 2015
The Issue
Electric Forest is a music festival based out of Rothbury, MI that consists of thousands upon thousands of music lovers, artists, and musicians uniting together. This festival has become such an important part of many people's plans each year, and the organization that is involved to put together this festival is massive.
The one organizational aspect of the festival that has been lacking (to say the least) this year has been with group camping. We have been fed an obscene amount of misinformation by the ticket vending company, FrontGate. The group leaders have struggled to get concrete information, dates, and responses from FrontGate, especially in the weeks leading up to the festival. The stress this puts on the group leaders is enormous, and it's totally unfair to them to have to deal with that while dealing with the already daunting task of leading a massive group.
There is no excuse that in the year 2015 we should have such massive dis-organization of a mostly digital process online. Lists of who was actually in the group weren't even made available until AFTER the deadline to sign up; there is no excuse for that.
Imagine if notifications were sent to the group leader's email everytime someone signed up? Imagine if there was a website where group leaders could sign in and view the current list of people signed up, including their addresses, who their driving with, etc. What a concept right?
FrontGate failed on all fronts this year, and they continue to fail by providing misinformation to concerned Electric Forest attendees about their group camping expereience. Nobody trusts FrontGate with providing them the correct information, and I think it's time that Electric Forest be made aware of the experience we've all gone through leading up to the forest.
