Investigate Pam and Proudly New Brunswick

Investigate Pam and Proudly New Brunswick
The Issue
Thousands of New Brunswickers received unsolicited political messages by automated text and phone calls on September 23rd, the day before the election. The messages did not properly identify themselves as required by the Political Process Financing Act. Media reports have since revealed that the author was a registered third party named Proudly New Brunswick, but their representative refuses to share how their election advertising was financed. New Brunswickers deserve to know who is trying to influence their election with highly sophisticated and automated technology.
We are asking the Chief Electoral Officer to use their powers under the Political Process Financing Act to investigate Proudly New Brunswick to determine whether their activities and finances were compliant with the act.
