Dear Rep. Ratcliffe,  

We, the residents of Texas Congressional District 4, ask for you as our elected representative to make a public commitment to human decency.  We ask that you take all possible steps to end the inhumane treatment of children on our borders.  We ask that you uphold a higher moral standard in the treatment of the defenseless seeking asylum and access to our country.  We ask that you take a public and urgent stance to end the policy of Family Separation at our borders.  Regardless of political affiliation, Americans believe in human dignity and the fair treatment of children. These children are experiencing unnecessary trauma.  We deserve to have elected representatives that are willing to stand up for common decency and we urge you to take a stand for better treatment of migrants, refugees and asylum speakers on our borders.  We stand with the children and we ask that you do as well.
