Action Needed!!!
The Fredericksburg Metropolitan Plan Organization (FAMPO) is finishing up an East West Mobility Study and want you to fill out a Survey to help prioritize the next major Transportation Project.
Three major projects are outlined in the study for the public to pick from.
1. A new River Crossing
2. A new Interchange in Central Park
3. A new Interchange at Harrison Road.
I have picked the new River Crossing as the first project that needs to be done for many reasons.
In order to make the River Crossing rank higher in the survey I picked neither for the two proposed Interchange projects.

As always make sure you say in the survey comments "I support the Inner Connector and Trail Network". An Improved Transportation Grid that provides alternate routes is what our Region needs to improve traffic flow to get us out of Gridlock.

It's very Important to fill out the survey, because a group have formed to try to kill the river crossing. They will be showing up at the FAMPO Public Hearing on Monday at 7:00 PM. I will be at the Public Hearing and will be vastly out numbered. Please attend the meeting and speak if you can. The FAMPO building is located at 406 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
