There have been over 700 cases of the COVID-19 Virus in the U.S. Locations such as Santa Clara County, Tulare, Fresno have had confirmed cases of people with the COVID-19 Virus. My goal is help prevent the chances of the COVID-19 Virus spreading here in Visalia, California by shutting down all the schools in the district. These schools include Linwood Elementary School, Cottonwood Elementary School, Crestwood Elementary School, Veva Blunt Elementary School, El Diamante High School, Redwood High School, Golden West High School, and many more. By doing so, this will lessen the chances of the COVID-19 Virus from spreading through public schools. Although it is yet to be unknown whether or not the COVID-19 Virus has reached our local area, it is best to take these safe precautions to shut down all schools in Visalia.
